During the reunion, Mike Cizek W3MC signed the club call, W3GRF, and gave his location as PVRC which, within the framework of the 2001 rules, does not count as a separate multiplier. I should have been pushing membership for comments but let this slide until yesterday (4/26) so I don’t expect an answer prior to publishing this issue. So let’s assume that if

you hear W3GRF in the reunion sending an
exchange of:
NRxx W3GRF PVRC W3XXX 47 a rule change is in force and it is W3XXX operating as W3GRF and PVRC is a multiplier. A question was raised about when the reunion on-the-air was started. Bud, W4YE thinks that W3GN, W3AU, K3ZO, and W3AZD may know the answer. Bud believes that Vic Clark W4KFC had the original idea along with perhaps W3GRF and W4GF.
Below are results. (I hope I didn’t miss any!) Notice that W3TMZ (Florida) and WA7LT (Washington; ex-W9LT) finished in the top five which is more difficult than DC area stations who can band hop via ground wave. VK6WW (Mary Feldman KH6DL ex-WG4Q) is listed because he reported his score of zero. He was on but the propagation gods didn’t give him a path.
